The Community of South Beach - South Beach State Park
The South Beach State Park is one of the main attractions situated within the Community of South Beach Oregon. On the west side of the Yaquina Bay Bridge Landing Area is South Jetty Road. The South Jetty Road runs along the South Jetty of the Yaquina Bay Jetty System and offers public access to the jetty area for fishing and sightseeing activities as well as access to the beach sands of South Beach on the north end of the South Beach State Park. The South Beach State Park is accessible off Highway 101 and includes a Day Use Park and a year-round campground known as the South Beach Campground. The Day Use Park offers several trails and access points to South Beach, a broad beach expanse running from the South Jetty all the way south to Ona Beach State Park located near Seal Rock Oregon. The Day Use Park features several picnic and lawn areas plus public restrooms. The South Beach Campground offers many amenities including RV Sites and Dump Stations, Camping Yurts and Group Camping Sites, Flush Toilets and Hot Showers, Meeting Room Facilities and outdoor playground equipment and hiking activities.
