The Community of South Beach - The Development of Southshore
The beach strand of South Beach runs south along the South Beach State Park Area and then continues on past the neighboring residential development of Southshore. The Development of Southshore is located on the west side of Highway 101 and affords a truly wonderful coastal setting featuring broad vistas of South Beach and the sand dune formations of sea grass and coastal pines surrounding the shoreline, and panoramic views of the white water surf. Southshore offers multiple housing choices including oceanfront condominiums, oceanfront home sites and interior-based home sites with neighborhood proximity to the community’s beach access as well as to its tennis and clubhouse complexes. Key community amenities available at Southshore include a gated entrance, an indoor tennis complex with two lighted courts, an outdoor area with tennis courts and a basketball court, and a Clubhouse Facility offering a heated swimming pool, sauna, hot tub and an exercise room. Heading south of Southshore, the South Beach Community Areas feature coastal bluffs set along the shoreline.
