Beverly Beach Area - The Communities of Finisterre and Beverly Beach
Heading south on Highway 101 from Otter Rock, a turnout is available on the east side of the highway connecting to the Beverly Beach Area. The turnout heads east either connecting to the entrance road that leads north to the Beverly Beach State Park and Campground or south towards the communities of Finisterre and Beverly Beach. The first community encountered is a non-gated residential development known as Finisterre. The Finisterre Community features both ocean view and interior treed home sites set in the hillsides overlooking Beverly Beach. The northern edge of Finisterre features views overlooking the Beverly Beach State Park and Campground and distant views of Otter Rock. Another section of ocean view home sites located on the western edge of the Finisterre Development offers ocean views oriented due west over the ocean breakers along Beverly Beach and the offshore rocks of Otter Rock and Whale Back Rock. The majority of the Finisterre Neighborhood includes treed interior home sites affording sounds of the ocean and additional space for privacy. The other residential development is the known as the community of Beverly Beach. The small neighborhood features both ocean view and treed interior home sites. The majority of the ocean view home sites are located on Avery Street that runs north and south along the cliff-top on the east side of Highway 101. The available ocean views include the white water surf as well as vistas looking north towards Otter Rock and south towards Moolack Beach and Yaquina Head.
