The Waldport Community Area - The City of Waldport

The Waldport Community Area includes an area starting generally from the neighborhoods located along the Bayshore Spit Area southward to Big Creek found at the dividing line to the Yachats Area. The City of Waldport is situated on the southern end of the Alsea Bay in addition to other city areas set along the Pacific Ocean. Also, the city limits include a small section found on the north side of the Alsea Bay containing the Development of Alsea Highlands. The Alsea Bay Bridge provides both the vehicle and passenger access over the Alsea Bay Estuary and is an excellent spot for taking in the various scenic vantage points of the area at almost 70 feet above the water. The Alsea Bay and Alsea River are vital water bodies contributing both to the financial and recreational qualities of the community.
