The Residential Neighborhoods of Waldport - Crestview Hills Golf Course

The City of Waldport features many nice residential neighborhoods offering an assortment of scenic vantage points of the Alsea Bay Estuary, the Lint Slough Natural Area, Eckman Lake and the Pacific Ocean. Some of the neighborhood areas are situated within the nearby hillsides providing panoramic view lines of the natural splendor of the area including the communities of Waldport Heights, Peterson Park, Township 13, Ridgewood Acres and Norwood Heights. The City of Waldport maintains several park areas built near these residential neighborhoods including the baseball fields at Kendall Fields and the Waldport Skateboard Park situated on Crestline Drive. Several other neighborhoods are available located near the Crestview Hills Golf Course known as Crestview Hills and Fairway Heights. Open to the public, the Crestview Hills Golf Course offers a nine-hole course design with a par rating of 36 plus other amenities including a pro shop, golf instruction plus tournaments and league play. Additional residential areas are found along the course of Highway 34 as it traverses eastward along the banks of the Alsea River. The course of Highway 101 proceeds southward along the shorelines of the Alsea Bay and then travels uphill towards the residential areas built along Yaquina John Point.
