Gleneden Beach - Coronado Shores
Coronado Shores is one of the main residential communities available in the Gleneden Beach Area and is located south of the Gleneden Beach State Recreation Site. The Development features a range of residential housing options including oceanfront and ocean view home sites as well as interior locations. Access to Coronado Shores is available through two main roads that lead off Highway 101 and into the un-gated community. The Development has a well-paved street system for getting around the community as well as providing additional walking options for enjoying the neighborhood. Coronado Shores is a planned development with an active homeowners association in place and recorded covenants, and is noted for its affordable annual homeowner’s fees. Coronado Shores offers several beach access points that are shared by the community including the main Cabana Area. The Cabana Building overlooks the ocean and is used for community and personal use events. The Cabana Area includes picnic tables, a stairway to the beach, a grass lawn for relaxing in the sun and water facilities for washing your feet after a nice beach walk. Besides the shared beach access, Coronado Shores has a clubhouse area that serves a variety of uses including as a central coordination point for managing HOA affairs and also the community controlled security patrol program. The clubhouse has a swimming pool that is open during the summer months as well as locker rooms for changing clothes. Also, the clubhouse area has an outdoor basketball court, resident and guest parking, mailbox stands for receiving personal mail and indoor facilities for conducting meetings or other recreational uses. The community holds a variety of social activities including monthly potlucks, bingo, card games (Bridge and Pinochle), Exercise Aerobics and other recreation and social activities. Coronado Shores continues to be a very popular residential area within Gleneden Beach and Lincoln County in general.
