Salishan Spit - Salishan Residential Communities

The Community of Salishan showcases some of the finest aspects of the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest and the Oregon Coast Lifestyle. The Salishan Area is located within Gleneden Beach, an unincorporated residential community of Lincoln County. The Salishan Area draws from the majestic beauty of the Pacific Ocean, the Siletz Bay Estuary and the cascading forests of evergreen trees surrounding the area. The Salishan Spit, a spit area approximately several miles long, provides the western edge to the Siletz Bay Estuary. The Salishan Area includes several residential and condominium developments, the renowned Salishan Lodge and Spa Resort, and the Salishan Golf Links (18 Hole Championship Styled Links Course). The Salishan Spit provides a natural separation from the ocean and the bay, while featuring some of the best water view home sites located on the Oregon Coast. The north end of the Salishan Spit is free from development and meets the mouth of the Siletz Bay Estuary. The end of the spit is a popular haul-out spot for harbor seals and sea lions that frequent the area, and offers a park-like setting for exploring the sand dune formations situated along the Siletz Bay. The Park Area at the end of the Salishan Spit is available to residents of the Salishan Development and guests staying at the Salishan Lodge and Spa. The home sites in the north end of the spit offer residents with incredible water views in the Salishan Development including both the white water surf of the Pacific Ocean and the tidal influenced waters of the Siletz Bay Estuary.
