The Lincoln City Area offers one of the best beach experiences within the Central Oregon Coast. The long beach strand serves as a scenic backdrop for both residential communities and commercial lodging properties, providing a remarkable setting for enjoying the ocean breezes, the white water surf, and the fiery sunsets over the Pacific Ocean. The City of Lincoln City has developed a wonderful Community Plan to incorporate a multitude of beach access points spread throughout the community. These beach access points provide many facilities including stairs to the beach, restrooms, parking, and several vehicle access points to the beach. Key “On the Beach” activities include beach combing, agate hunting, tide pooling, kite flying, sandcastle building and evening bonfires. The beach experience is further heightened by the seasonal forces of nature, especially during the winter when storm watching is at its best.
